Privacy Policy

Hedfones (“Hedfones,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds and hosts custom AI agents for small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website, contact us, or receive SMS or voice-related messages through a Hedfones-hosted worker acting for a business customer.
1. Who this covers
This policy covers:
- Visitors to hedfones.com and related Hedfones sites
- People who contact Hedfones directly (forms, email, phone, SMS)
- People who call or text a phone number connected to a Hedfones-hosted agent for one of our business customers (for example, a contractor’s office line)
When a Hedfones agent texts you on behalf of a business you contacted, that business is usually the primary relationship. Hedfones processes the messages so the agent can do its job.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, phone number, email, business name, address or ZIP
- Message content — SMS/MMS texts, photos you send, voicemail content, form submissions, and related conversation history
- Call metadata — time of call or message, missed-call events, delivery status
- Scheduling details — preferred times, booked estimate windows, job descriptions you provide
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and basic site analytics if enabled
- Business-customer account data — configuration for their agent (approved windows, service area, owner contact, scripts)
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and operate Hedfones-hosted agents
- Send SMS related to an inquiry you started (including missed-call follow-up, scheduling, confirmations, and quote follow-up for that request)
- Notify the business owner when action is needed
- Honor STOP, HELP, and other compliance requests
- Improve reliability, security, and quality of the service
- Comply with law and prevent abuse or fraud
We do not use consumer mobile phone numbers to send marketing blasts unrelated to the inquiry or relationship that produced the number.
4. SMS and mobile information
If you provide a mobile number by calling or texting a Hedfones-connected business line, or by opting in another disclosed way, we may send SMS about that inquiry or service relationship.
- Message frequency varies with the conversation (typically only as needed for that open inquiry).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- The business customer whose agent you contacted (so they can serve you)
- Service providers that help us run the product (for example SMS/voice providers, hosting, logging). They may process data only to provide those services
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing.
6. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including operating the agent, resolving disputes, security, and legal obligations. Business customers may request deletion subject to those needs.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
8. Your choices
- STOP / unsubscribe from SMS as described above
- Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us
- If you are a California resident or live in a place with additional privacy rights, contact us to exercise those rights to the extent they apply
9. Children
Hedfones is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site or messaging services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
